The property is situated at the top of the hill of Polvano, near the ancient towns of Castiglion Fiorentino and Cortona, in a historic hamlet surrounded by olive tree fields and woodland.

The Villa includes three double bedrooms, four bathrooms, one spacious sitting room, one dining room with a sitting area and open plan kitchen, two outdoor relaxing dining/sitting areas and an outdoor private pool for the exclusive use of the guests.

All bedrooms feature exquisite wrought iron bed-heads, hand-painted wooden furniture and white bedspreads. The house is composed of two floors connected by an internal staircase. One double bedroom and a bathroom are situated on the first floor of the house.

Facilities

The property also enjoys the shared use of a breathtaking panoramic terrace, all surrounded by five hectares of olive tree fields and woodland in the beautiful Chio Valley.

The accommodation also offers a covered private parking area for four cars.

There are tennis courts, golf courses, sports facilities and horse riding centres in the vicinity.

For those who prefer mountain-biking or trekking on foot, well-marked map trails start from the hamlet and wind their way across the Chio Valley, climbing up the surrounding mountains and leading to Lake Trasimeno, a popular destination for those who love cycling or romantic lakeside dinners.

The Valley that extends from the hamlet of Polvano to Castiglion Fiorentino was named the "Valley of God" by Grand Duke Ferdinando II de Medici, who admired its beautiful landscape and pristine nature as early as the mid 17th century.

The property is conveniently located at short driving distance from the historic towns of Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Montepulciano, Todi, Perugia, Assisi, Citta’ della Pieve and Arezzo. Florence is at approximately one hour drive from Polvano.
