Nestled in a secluded position amid the lush hills of the Val Cerfone, on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, Il Ranchetto is a farmhouse surrounded by unspoiled nature, emerging from the dense vegetation like a peaceful retreat. A true oasis of tranquility, far from the noise and pace of modern life, it’s the perfect choice for those wishing to fully appreciate the beauty of nature.

The road leading to the house (about 5 km) is a beautiful forest path, partly unpaved and with a few sloping sections. It is passable by all types of vehicles, though some might find it a bit challenging due to its length—about 12 km from Palazzo del Pero, where you’ll find a few shops and a restaurant. But once you’ve driven through the green, scenic route—perhaps spotting forest dwellers such as badgers or foxes—you’ll be rewarded with a haven of peace that is truly one of a kind. The city of Arezzo is about 25 km away.

Surrounding the farmhouse is a large green area where you can relax, disconnect from the world, and enjoy the private swimming pool (5 x 10 m, depth 1.40–1.60 m). Several outdoor dining areas with tables and chairs invite you to share meals and quality time with family. The interiors, furnished in a simple and functional style, evoke the charm of traditional Tuscan farmhouses—where essentials like the natural spring of drinking water adjacent to the house were treasures to be valued.
