This beautiful Tuscan farmhouse comprises a single complex located in the center of the valley, surrounded by rolling hills characterized by terraced olive groves and vineyards, as well as Mediterranean scrub forests. Nestled in five hectares of land used for organic vegetable cultivation, the farm also produces extra virgin olive oil and Val di Chio D.O.C. red wine.
The main building is divided into two floors: the upper floor, reached via a traditional stone staircase, features a covered loggia offering beautiful Tuscan landscapes and the town of Castiglion Fiorentino in the background. From the loggia, two apartments are accessible: Melo in Fiore and Glicine Giallo (sleeps 3-5 each), each measuring 65 square meters. Both apartments feature a large kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom with shower, and are furnished with period furniture.
The 35-square-meter Iris apartment (sleeps 3-4) is conveniently located on the ground floor, easily accessible to wheelchair users. It is also furnished with period furniture and includes a kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom with shower. The apartments are equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, safe, television, and bed, bath, and kitchen linens. For those who use the apartment kitchens, the organic produce from the garden is available to guests free of charge.
Separated by a row of cypress trees, we find a detached structure made entirely of naturally treated wood, housing a large panoramic terrace and three spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms: Biancospino, Salice, and Fiordaliso.
The farmhouse offers several shaded outdoor areas equipped with tables, as well as a large free parking lot easily accessible to wheelchair users. There is also a play area with a gym and slides for children. Separated by a low fence are the swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, with sun loungers, umbrellas, and a solar shower.
On the north side of the property, a panoramic veranda is used for traditional Tuscan breakfasts and dinners, with a large table where everyone can eat together like a large family. For those who wish to cook, the property also offers a barbecue and a wood-fired oven. Free Wi-Fi is available in the common areas.
The owners, attentive and committed to respecting the environment, have, in addition to organic farming, installed a photovoltaic system for electricity generation and a solar thermal system for hot water.
