The B&B farmhouse is nestled among vineyards and olive groves.
In a splendid panoramic position overlooking the Chio Valley, we are halfway between Arezzo and Cortona.
Near Santa Cristina la Strada, we continue through the vineyards to the small hamlet of Taragnano, consisting of a few stone houses and an oratory. Its name derives from the Etruscan Thoranianu family. Just before the village, there is a centuries-old tabernacle containing a painted terracotta tile depicting the Madonna breastfeeding the Child. (Maestà del Latte in Taragnano) After passing Castiglion Fiorentino and the castle of Montecchio Vesponi, we arrive in the Chio Valley. Above Mount Castiglion Maggio, the Foce pass, the village of Caldesi and the Corneta and Maccagnano mountains, the houses of Renzana with the Pratello hill above, the Fontanina and Montanina hills, the Rocca Montanina, the Belvedere pass, the Forche hill, then Casa Valcella, the Ristonchia mouth, Mount Castel d'Ernia.
