More information :

Galleria di Brolio is an ancient stone farmhouse dating back to the 19th century, located between two of the most important towns in the Valdichiana, Castiglion Fiorentino and Foiano. It is now part of the owners' farm. The farmhouse is located a few kilometers from the two villages, and in both, in addition to numerous monuments and sites of artistic interest that are certainly worth visiting, you will find shops, restaurants, and all kinds of services. The small historic centers of the villages are a delightful destination for your aperitifs or dinners at the restaurant.

The farmhouse takes its name from the Galleria di Brolio, a still-functioning conduit located at the edge of the olive grove. The conduit is part of the canal built between 1932 and 1940 to improve the flow of water towards the Arno River, envisioned by engineer Vittorio Fossombroni for the reclamation of the valley at the end of the 18th century.
The Brolio Gallery is located on the edge of a 20-hectare oak and pine forest used as a hunting reserve for restocking animals. The animals roam freely here, and if you're a wildlife enthusiast, you'll often spot hares and pheasants scampering through the olive grove, vineyard, and even the house's lawn.

On the ground floor, there's an apartment used only occasionally by the owners, along with a cellar and a shed for the farm's agricultural tools. The first floor is reserved for your use. The furnishings are meticulously crafted and comfortable, featuring local antiques, perfectly complementing the house's historic features. Not far away, beyond the forest, is the railway line connecting central Italy with the main cities of the peninsula (Florence, Bologna, Rome, and Milan), making it easy to get around even without a car.

Just a few meters from the house, nestled among silvery olive trees, you'll find a beautiful, fully fenced swimming pool for your exclusive use (11 x 5 m, depth 1.10-1.40 m), along with a gazebo equipped with garden furniture, offering shelter from the hot summer sun.
A large pergola furnished with wrought iron furniture is also available for outdoor dining, complete with a barbecue and wood-fired oven for those evenings when you want to enjoy pizza or a grilled meat al fresco.

The owner, upon request, will prepare excellent traditional Tuscan dinners and wood-fired pizza, which, according to guests who have stayed at the farmhouse, are truly delicious.
