Agriturismo Il Poggiolo consists of two independent apartments and is located adjacent to the main house — a large building with a chapel and extensive grounds—among olive trees and vineyards, in keeping with the tradition of ancient Tuscan farms. Agriturismo Poggiolo, an 18th-century farmhouse, has been converted into two apartments, renovated respecting its original features while incorporating all modern amenities. The ground floor features exposed stone walls and the first floor features lime plaster, and the farmhouse is furnished with period furniture. Agriturismo Poggiolo enjoys a panoramic and secluded location, overlooking the Valdichiana like a terrace. From here, you can see a vast swathe of the valley all the way to Monte Amiata (in the province of Siena), with a view of the 11th-century Montecchio Castle. The farmhouse has ample parking. Guests can enjoy a portion of the park and explore the paths and trails through the extensive terraced olive grove (owned by the estate) that lead to the hill above, in even higher positions, amidst a natural setting filled with scents and sounds unchanged by time. The farmhouse is equipped with a wood-fired oven, a classic Tuscan tradition, where guests can cook authentic dishes and delicious pizzas. The house comprises two separate apartments, furnished with period furniture, for a total of 5 bedrooms with 11 beds.
A land rich in history and memories is home to the San Savino Agritourism Farm. From the Etruscan ancestors to the Renaissance, from the Middle Ages to the glorious Grand Ducal era: here, artistic heritage and landscape have blended in great harmony. Historical information about the San Savino building—now renovated with the most advanced techniques—dates back to 1066, the year in which it was donated by Marquis Ranieri to the Camaldolese friars, as evidenced by the contract drawn up by Ser Bernardo "intus Castello de Castilione in Comitatu Aretino" (Camaldolese Annals). Situated in a panoramic location, with an 8,000 m2 conifer park, the house is surrounded by 50 hectares of chestnut and oak woods rich in mushrooms, olive groves, and pine forests. Easily accessible from the Valdichiana and Arezzo toll booths on the Autostrada del Sole (A1), the San Savino farmhouse is located near the Val di Chio provincial road, 7 km from Castiglion Fiorentino, right in the heart of Arezzo's Tuscany region. The San Savino farmhouse is composed of two separate apartments, furnished with period furniture, for a total of 7 rooms with 16 beds.
