With this package, you will enjoy a complete experience that will take you from the Etruscan treasures of Cortona to the Renaissance palaces of Montepulciano, where time seems to pass more slowly and the flavors of wine tell stories of tradition. You will stay in a cozy apartment not far from the historic center of Castiglion Fiorentino, and you will have the opportunity to freely explore the wonders that this place has to offer.
An itinerary that combines culture and culinary delights: from the MAEC museum in Cortona, home of precious Etruscan artifacts, to a tasting of Vino Nobile in a historic winery in Montepulciano, surrounded by vineyards and local products.

Day 1: arrival and first discoveries
Arrival at the accommodation in the apartment and free time to relax and stroll around the village of Castiglion Fiorentino.
Dinner included at a nearby restaurant (choice of several restaurants).
Day 2: Cortona and Etruscan treasures
Departure at your leisure for Cortona (about 15-20 minutes by car / about 30 minutes by bus). Admission to the MAEC - Museum of the Etruscan Academy, with its precious historical artifacts. Walk through the historic center: Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, the Basilica of Santa Margherita. Free lunch in one of the typical trattorias in the village. Afternoon free to continue the visit or return to the apartment.
For dinner, voucher included to order takeaway pizza.
Day 3: Montepulciano
Departure at your leisure for Montepulciano (about 40 minutes by car). Walk through the Renaissance town center and visit a historic winery with tasting of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano: the De'Ricci winery, with a tour of the Cathedral.
The visit to the cathedral includes a guided tour of the historic cellars with an explanation of the steps that have marked their wines. A tasting of three wines, icons of their winery, where you can range from Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG to the SorAldo selection and their IGT Supertuscan wines, Il Vignone and Il Severo.
To better enjoy their wines, the tasting will be accompanied by a small sampling of local products (duration of the experience: 75 min).
Free lunch in town and afternoon free to continue visiting the village. Return to the apartment in the evening.
Day 4: Goodbye Tuscany
Check-out and release of the apartment.
Opportunity to make last-minute purchases of typical products to take home.
