Three days of emotions, discoveries and unique flavours await you: on Friday 1, Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May 2026, the Valdichiana Wine Festival returns in the stunning setting of the cloister in Piazza San Francesco.
In the heart of the Valdichiana Aretina, Castiglion Fiorentino turns into a magical place where wine takes centre stage. Here, visitors can meet the producers, listen to their stories and be captivated by the secrets behind every glass.
The event comes to life thanks to the collaboration between the Municipality of Castiglion Fiorentino and key partners such as the “Barolo vs Brunello” Association, the Pro Loco of Castiglion Fiorentino and “La Strada del Vino Terre di Arezzo”.
It will be a journey through tradition, innovation and unforgettable flavours for wine lovers, enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.
The numbers for this new edition are truly incredible: 53 local wineries, 300 wines available for tasting, and 3 masterclasses featuring wineries from other regions and areas as well.
Entry tickets can be purchased directly on site and allow access for the whole day, from 11:00am to 7:00pm.
The Masterclasses, however, have limited seats and require a reservation, subject to availability. Anyone who purchases a ticket for even just one of the Masterclasses will be entitled to free admission to the tasting tables on the same day.
This year’s guest wineries will be:
Ghëddo - Viticoltori in La Morra (CN) --> A small artisanal winery in La Morra that produces Langhe wines with a youthful, authentic approach centered on vineyard work
Casa Caterina --> Produces unconventional and complex Metodo Classico sparkling wines, made with indigenous yeasts and extended aging on the lees
Vallepicciola --> A modern, sustainable estate in the heart of Chianti Classico, known for elegant wines and immersive experiences among vineyards, architecture, and top-tier hospitality
One of the major new features of this year’s edition will be the Valdichiana Wine Festival Wine Shop: an opportunity to purchase wines from participating wineries at prices lower than the list price, allowing you to take home the wines you discovered during the tasting.
